A pill of Noroxin (Norfloxacin) must be taken once in every 12 hours i.e. twice in a day. It is orally administered with a glass of water.   • Fever, chills, sore throat, easy bleeding or bruising
  • Confusion, depression and hallucination

  • Excessive pressure in the skull – headache, vision and hearing problems and pain behind eyes.

Some frequently occurring side effects are nausea, upset stomach, mild diarrhea, vaginal itching, mild dizziness and headache.

What are the conditions when use of Noroxin (Norfloxacin) should be avoided?

Noroxin (Norfloxacin) must not be taken into consideration if:

  • You are hypersensitive to it or any of its ingredients
  • You have suffered or are suffering from any tendon-related disorder; or you have faced ruptured or swelled tendon due to usage of fluoroquinolone- powered drugs
  • You are consuming any antiarrhythmic medicines such as procainamide, quinidine, sotalol or nitrofurantoin

You have faced myasthenia gravis in the past, a disease causing muscle weakness and fatigue
